Anasa Aesthetics Academy

Peggy Zapantis APRN, MSN, FNP-BC - Lead Aesthetics Trainer

Peggy Zapantis is an accomplished nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience in health care. Working in both critical care and internal medicine she then made her way into the aesthetics industry. Originally getting a certificate for aesthetics in 2013, Peggy soon realized that unless you practice the skills of injectable aesthetics there is no reason to pay thousands of dollars in order to say you know how to inject. Practice and hands on experience is everything in aesthetics.

Shortly after getting trained Peggy was not in an office setting where she could be injecting patients in order to get practice, so the training was not utilized to its full potential.

In 2017, Peggy was practicing internal medicine in a very busy office. she decided she would start injecting Botox for migraines. After that she found that there is a need and from her patients in primary care that would like to stay in her office and also get their skincare done. Peggy decided to get recertified in aesthetics but this time have it streamlined so there was practice with her patients shortly after so the skill would not be lost. It was a huge success and from there Peggy perfected her skills by going to conferences and trainings.

The resources in 2013 for aesthetics is not what it is today. Peggy was committed and invested in her skills and then started to build and train with the best in the industry. Some of the Master injectors that Peggy has trained, taken Academy courses along with Cadever class over the years include, Dr Arthur Swift, Dr. Cotovanu, Dr. Shino Bay, Julie Bass Kaplan, Tom Van Eijk, Dr. Surek, Julie Horn, Kevin Harrington, Stephanie Hamilton, Dr. Roop Gill and more.

Peggy Zapantis is a member of AMSPA, FLANP and attends many national conferences throughout the year such as Aesthetic Extender Symposium, AMWC, GAC and will be speaking at this years FLANP as a KOL for aesthetics medicine.
